About
In 2004 at age 30, I was diagnosed with and treated for breast cancer. I was made aware on June 27th, 2014, that the cancer is widespread in my bones and also entered my lungs. This is a bit of my journey starting at that point. Some would say I’m dying. I would counter that we’re all living and dying to some extent, every day. We will all eventually reach the same fate. When you look to the universe, the stars and beyond, you realize how incredibly small and fleeting all life is. I’m doing the best I can with what I have.
Girl Simba: an incredibly articulate female lion with enormous strengths. You are my role model. Tomoko
I’ve had good people in my life to show me the way, like yourself, Tomoko.
Your entries should become a book. I’m happy to hear you are getting out and about. You are such an inspiration. I live in West Des Moines and I believe Jill told you to call me anytime if you need anything.

Any time, Sarah. I’m here for you.
